Jonathan Taylor
CEO
Jonathan combined his experience in both business operations and
technology innovation to found Voxeo in 1999. Under his guidance,
Voxeo has seen triple-digit revenue growth for four consecutive
years and has been profitable since January, 2004.
Prior to Voxeo, Jonathan founded and helped bring three additional
software and
infrastructure service companies to profitability.
From 1995 to 1997, Jonathan was the founder and President of
InterResearch
and Development Group (IRdg), Inc. IRdg created and licensed
iPost - the first internet powered OEM unified messaging solution - to leading
telecommunications providers including Ericsson, Motorola and Unisys.
IRdg was acquired by Elron Electronic Industries
(Nasdq: ELRN)
subsidiary MediaGate in 1997.
Prior to IRdg, Jonathan helped relaunch Columbia Data Products
(CDP),
Inc. - manufacturer of the first IBM compatible computer - with
an emphasis on OEM storage technology. Since its
relaunch, CDP has been named one of the 100 fastest growing
private companies by Inc. magazine. Jonathan serves on the boards
of Voxeo and Columbia Data Products.
John Amein
Senior Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions
John drives Voxeo's mergers and acquisitions.
John has over 20 years experience in computer telephony and voice applications. Most recently, John was the founder and CEO
of VoiceReady, where he delivered the first OEM software
to enable rapid speech application development via an intuitive web interface.
Voxeo acquired VoiceReady in July, 2006. Prior to VoiceReady, John served as CEO of NetBytel, Inc, resulting in a
successful sale of the business to Tuvox in 2005. NetByTel was a pioneer in the field of hosted speech applications.
From 1990 to 2003, John served in a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles for Dialogic Corporation, which was
acquired by Intel in 2000. At Dialogic he advanced from managing all Eastern US sales, to all European marketing, to all
products as VP of Product Management in less than five years.
John graduated from Stanford University with a master of science in electrical
engineering.
RJ Auburn
Chief Technology Officer
RJ drives Voxeo's technology
leadership in the internet and voice solution industries, and also
leads the research, evaluation, and design of Voxeo's carrier class Voice Centers.
RJ is Editor and Chair of the W3C Call Control XML (CCXML)
standard and working group, and oversees Voxeo's leadership contribution
to VoiceXML, ENUM/DNS, and other industry standards. RJ is also an acknowledged
expert in the fields of voice recognition, call center integration, and call
control and conferencing.
Prior to Voxeo, RJ was a Senior Consultant at Quality Call Solutions, a
leading supplier of IVR and CTI solutions for the enterprise call center market.
RJ frequently speaks at technology conferences throughout the United States.
Jim Bork
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Jim Bork has over 16 years of sales management experience at leading technology companies. Bork comes to Voxeo from HighJump Software, a Battery Ventures company, which provides software and hardware to the manufacturing, distribution, retail, and direct store delivery industries. While at HighJump, Bork served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and is widely credited with standardizing sales processes and launching a business development program.
Prior to HighJump, Bork served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Epicor Software, a publicly traded ERP software company with nearly $500 million in annual revenues. Bork is credited with implementing a business partner program to extend Epicor's international reach into emerging markets such as Thailand, Vietnam, Colombia and Malaysia. He also successfully drove Epicor's best practice sales initiatives throughout the international market while maintaining cultural nuances necessary to do business in local regions. Bork began his career with Epicor in 1997 as a Sales Representative and quickly moved into ever-increasing roles of responsibility in sales management including Regional Director for the Americas and Vice President of Sales for Eastern America and Strategic Accounts.
Before Epicor, Bork served as International Sales Manager from 1994 to 1997 for Amex, Inc., a privately held company specializing in building international distribution channels for high-tech companies. From 1993 to 1994, he was a Sales Representative for Vista Information Solutions, Inc. a public company utilizing Geographic Information Systems technology to assist environmental and financial companies identify potential compliance and liability issues.
Bork graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management.
When not helping Voxeo achieve market domination in the real-time communications and customer self-service markets, Bork enjoys spending his free time Wake Surfing or Snowboarding depending on the season.
Anne Bowman
President
Anne leads Voxeo's executive team with an obsession for building a world class service
company that creates passionate and loyal customers. She believes the key to this is building
a culture based on Core Values that foster an environment where Voxeons are engaged and motivated on a daily basis.
Prior to joining Voxeo, Anne formed TeamSeam Consulting, LLC in 2006, providing guidance
to venture backed startups in all areas of growth and expansion with a special focus
on the customer experience in Sales and Operations.
Before founding TeamSeam, Anne co-founded the Intensive Hosting Division for Rackspace Managed Hosting
where she acted as VP and General Manager. She grew the division to $92 million dollars in annual
recurring revenue at a 70%+ Gross Margin in 2 years. The Intensive Hosting Division focused on high-end, complex hosting configurations.
Previously, Anne co-founded a start-up company, Burlee.com, a web hosting company that specialized in
dedicated, shared, and collocation services for small to medium business, acquired in 2002 by Interland.
Anne attended the University of Vermont and majored in Management Information Systems.
Anne played lacrosse in college and when she isn't obsessing about how to better serve our
customers she is usually golfing, running, cycling, or skiing.
Ryan Campbell
Chief Culture Officer
Ryan drives Voxeo's focus on high performance culture and values. Ryan is a co-founder of Voxeo and has been leading and building carrier-class communications organizations for over 14 years.
Prior to co-founding Voxeo, Ryan was Director of Engineering at IRdg, Inc. where he led the development of iPost, the first carrier-class internet unified messaging platform. While at Voxeo, Ryan has held executive level positions in Engineering, Network Operations, and Customer Service.
Ryan graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in computer science, specializing in artificial intelligence.
Michael Codini
Managing Director, Voxeo Germany GmbH
Michael leads all aspects of Voxeo's business operations in EMEA.
Michael co-founded VoiceObjects in 2001 and has joined in 2008 Voxeo as the Managing Director of Voxeo Germany GmbH. He was and is still responsible for defining the VoiceObjects technology vision and strategy.
Previously, Michael lead the presales organization for MicroStrategy Germany and later coordinated the development effort as Senior Program Manager for MicroStrategy's Intelligence Server, their flagship product in business analytics. He also held consulting positions in IBM's Business Intelligence group.
Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, specializing in database technologies.
Paul Corrao
Senior Vice President, Network Operations
Paul is responsible for the engineering and operation of Voxeo's Global IVR hosting facilities and VoIP network infrastructure.
Prior to joining Voxeo Paul held several senior level technology, customer care and operations positions throughout his career. Most recently he was Vice President, Customer Service and Network Operations at Syniverse Technologies where he was responsible for the engineering and operation of Syniverse's SS7 and IP networks. He was also responsible for customer provisioning and maintenance of all network service products, Corporate IT, Corporate Security and Building Operations.
Paul has held similar positions at Intermedia Communications, a Tampa based CLEC, EPIX Corporation, an HR Outsourcing firm and Bell Atlantic in its Global Networks Division.
Paul holds a BA in Computer Science from City University of New York (CUNY) and a Master of Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Jason Goecke
Vice President, Innovation
Jason is responsible for innovation at Voxeo Labs, the Silicon Valley organization of Voxeo driving core platform research, incubation and innovation for the group.
Jason has 20 years of experience in the technology sector having provided technology and commercial leadership in the US and internationally throughout his career. Prior to becoming a founding member of Voxeo Labs, he was a founder of Adhearsion, LLC, the open-source voice development framework provider. Previously he held leadership positions at Presence Technology and Genesys.
Kevin Lu
Vice President, Asia Pacific
Kevin leads all aspects of Voxeo's business operations in Asia Pacific.
Previously, Kevin was the CEO of Micromethod from its inception through the acquisition by Voxeo. Prior to Micromethod, Kevin served as VP of Business Development at VisionNex that was acquired by Radvision. Kevin began his career as a software engineer at IBM.
Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
James G. Neumann
Vice President, Customer Engineering & Customer Service
Jim leads Voxeo's renowned Extreme Support Customer Service and Account Management teams,
where he ensures that our customers and partners receive best-in-class development and deployment support.
Most recently Jim was the VP of Global Services for Openwave Systems (Nasdaq: OPWV), a
leading innovator of software products and services for the communication industry.
Prior to Openwave, Jim was the Vice President of Latin America Product Support and
Premium Services for Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL), the world's largest enterprise software
company. Jim has 33 years of Customer service experience, including 26 acquired while
working for Digital Equipment Corporation.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston
University (Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Daniel Polfer
Vice President, Engineering
Dan is responsible for the development of Voxeo's premise and hosted products and services.
Over the last 12 years Dan has led the development of industry-defining multimedia and
storage applications for Yahoo!, Musicmatch, and Roxio. In 1995 he founded Moxie Technologies,
which developed the most widely used CD/DVD recording engine in the world. Moxie Technologies
was acquired by Musicmatch in 2000, which was than acquired by Yahoo! in 2004. As the VP of
OEM Engineering at Musicmatch and Director of Engineering at Yahoo!, Dan managed the
development and deployment of solutions to over 80 retail and OEM partners.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Rollins College.
